Wonderspaces v2: With Creative License
It's round two for this the new Wonderspaces exhibition, "With Creative License". It appears that people are unofficially dubbing it "Wonderspaces V2"...maybe because of the Nonotak piece from last year titled "Daydream V2"?
Nevertheless, it is always a great experience to see so much interactive and immersive art in a pop-up museum in San Diego. Compared to last year's exhibitions, this year's collection is of the same quality. I personally still have a place in my heart for the "Blooms" by John Edmark and San Diego local Adam Belt's "Religious Experience" installations from last year...but "Body Paint" by Memo Atken and "Sumberge" by Squidsoup are slowly claiming their territory.
Every creation in this wonderous space (see what I did there?) is very meticulously thought out. As much as I dislike the term "instagrammable" to describe a museum, this museum if very instagrammable. To their defense, they will be experimenting with no-camera hours to help attendees fully appreciate the art for their creative value vs quantity of instagram likes they will get.
